The 2018 Year of the Dog quarter-ounce gold coin from the UK’s Royal Mint forms part of the Royal Mint’s Shengxiao collection, highlighting the 12 animals that make up the Chinese zodiac. The reverse of the coin was designed by Wuon-Gean Ho, and features an image of a frolicking terrier, one of the most-beloved dog breeds, along with the Chinese character for dog.
